  I very much like shooting on older 16mm and super 8 stocks, Primarily using a Bolex and a number of garage sale find Super8 cameras I've collected. The way the images jump is fun to watch, and certainly a major psychological factor in the joy of film..
Video wise, while there is nothing like shooting on HD, there also is nothing like shooting on analog video, which is another growing collection of gear that I have. Svhs-c cameras, Hi-8, an old Quasar unit with has multiple heavy boxes you sling over your shoulder.. Mostly these are relegated to the dump, but their creepfest style is just too precious to pass up.
